Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) is driving ahead when it comes to empowering employees with Microsoft Teams for virtual calling and collaboration. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, TMNA wanted to improve workplace efficiency with tools that reflected its kaizen philosophy. Employees use Teams as a platform to make informed decisions, solve problems quickly and share business solutions that drive productivity. Teams is also now used as a digital iteration of Genchi Genbutsu to reduce the need for corporate travel. When COVID-19 arrived, TMNA used Teams to help 84,000 employees safely return to the factory floors and maintain business continuity for remote workers.
